From picking up a saxophone at age 8 to learning to write his own songs on guitar at 13, Sofist has been immersed in music since day 1. Fueled by a passion for creating and showcasing the most infectious and ear-opening sounds he can find, he embarks to break down the divides of genres and labels to bring an ever changing and versatile sound to the world. Whether he’s hand picking local talent for the weekly guest mix slot on his weekly “Sofist & Friends” radio show, crafting heavyweight productions for dance floors or working on his R&B project Nelson Navarro, this is one man who’s hands are never idle.
